This petition is started solely for the benefit of all members of our community and surrounding communities.  It's sole purpose is to stop the monopoly ATMC has on it.  ATMC is way overcharging it's customers and not giving them a choice on service.  By releasing it's hold, other cable companies will be allowed into the area to allow customers to have a choice.  This will bring competition, and therefore bring prices down.  Several customers have voiced their opinion on not only wanting higher quality, better speed, but cheaper prices.  Another huge concern for many is ATMC is the only company not allowing SC channels to be viewed.  We are closer to SC and many prefer to watch SC channels.
