The service on the Belgrave line, specifically from Upper Ferntree Gully station (UFG), is becoming unusable but there is no reporting from PTV to show the truth of the matter, explain the cause, nor ultimately look at resolving it. 

On a progressively frequent basis (now near daily), Belgrave line trains are, at short notice, terminated at UFG and people are left to stand in the cold and dark waiting for alternative transport, many missing connecting buses, or having to walk home in pitch dark due to delays - this includes children and elderly people. 

The consistent delays and cancellations without justification are not acceptable for a service that we have to pay for or otherwise risk significant fines. We would like to understand how we can be compensated for the lack of service. 

We request transparent reporting on the cause of, and planned resolution for, these delays, and a strategy for long term resolution that supports the growing community.
