Raise the age limit to 28/30/32 for many government PSU exams

Unemployment problem is on the rise & many state governments have already increased the upper age limit to 32 years or even more, but the Public Sector Undertakings  seem to have gone against the trend by bringing down age limit to 25 years, which again makes lots of aspirants ineligible who were preparing for few years.Even banking exams have an age limit of 28.The cut down in the age limit is making many aspiring engineers ineligible especially for electronics and communication engineer vacancies. According to  All India Council for Technical Education  more than 60%  of the unemployed youth in India fall from the Engineering category especially electronics engineers. Many students who have passed out from 2011 to 2017 are rendered jobless. Many from our batch ended up joining call centers after BTech. Few from that lot like me pursued post graduation in their relevant discipline, but the scenario is so worse that after completing PG few among us were forced to opt for banking sector. The reason behind this is unemployment.A candidate who completes his/her PG at 23 or 24 years would get hardly few months or a year time to prepare for his/her discipline. If he/she qualifies an exam in his first year of PG he should again compromise between the two and wait for an year  till another opportunity hits his door.A post graduate earlier had a hope that he/she might have a chance to get into teaching but these days the basic qualification to get through in teaching is PhD,where being a post graduate he/she id ineligible.

The awareness in the society was less five years back ,there was no proper guidance to the students who did their B.Tech or B.E five years back. These days the scenario is different, the engineering colleges five years back used to recruit B.Tech pass outs to teach the students. In this span of five years the basic qualification of teaching faculty has become M.Tech but still many PG candidates are rendered jobless. It is not their ineligibility but lack of opportunity.

A person willing to get into PSU /any other government job not only has to prepare the technical part of his/her relevant discipline but has to prepare aptitude ,current affairs etc as well.Limiting the age is as well limiting the talent and increasing the unemployment. There are many factors that limit opportunities. Some government level exams might  not have many centers, that limits many aspirants from not attempting the exam.Sometime two exams happen t o be on the same day and same time ,For example 17 December 2017 NIELIT had their written exam scheduled from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Scientist Post) and on the same day one another central government recruitment exam by ISRO was preponed from 24 December 207 to 17 December 2017 (9:00AM to 10:30AM).An aspirant who spends years to prepare for exams hardly gets one or two opportunities which again is to limited by such factors.

Not all aspirants have a good career guidance at right time ,few learn from their self  experience,It might get late when one starts choosing the right path but limiting the opportunities for the candidates in the name of age limit is insane especially for General category candidates. When every recruitment notification comes we feel hopeless even after being educated. It's our humble request to please raise the age limit from 25 to 28/30 so that qualified and talented aspirants would get a chance.
