Give 2020 High School Graduates Their Proms and Graduations Back

Give 2020 High School Graduates Their Proms and Graduations Back
The Issue
Everyone who graduated after 2020 have gotten their proms and commencements, while the 2020 ones did not thanks to Covid. They were devastated, heartbroken, and felt robbed of their achievements. They didn't get to have a proper goodbye, unlike everyone who completed high school later, in 2019, or earlier.
I noticed that some people who graduated high school in 2020 are jealous of later years' graduates. 2020 high school graduates have begged their schools to give them their proms and graduations back when it was safe to do so. Sadly, that didn't happen. For nearly 13 years, the parents raised their kids to learn how to write essays, do math, and much more.
Many girls who graduated high school in 2020 have already bought their prom dresses. But unless they had formal events to go to, their dresses have likely been sitting in their closets since the world shut down. A lot of the 2020 alumni have also gotten their caps and gowns for the commencement ceremony.
As of now, the 2020 graduates are the only graduating class that didn't have prom, commencement, or proper goodbyes.
Yes, most of the graduates have already attended their first few years of college. However, since the fall of 2020, many semesters have not been the same since before the pandemic started.
I even have neighbors who graduated high school in 2020. The later graduates have gotten all the attention, and the 2020 graduates have gotten none since.
Let's help the 2020 graduates get their end-of-senior-year traditions back.
