Public Presentation and Input on the Beaver Meadow Clubhouse Project

The Issue

In December the city council of Concord is planning to vote on allocating $10.3 million for the construction of a new clubhouse at Beaver Meadow. This decision has been made without proper public consultation or transparency. We believe that taxpayers have a right to understand how their money is being spent and should be allowed to provide input on such a significant expenditure.

The 2021 H. L. Turner Facility Assessment Report, funded by taxpayer dollars, has not been publicly presented or discussed with the residents of Concord. This report contains crucial information about the state of the Beaver Meadow clubhouse and should be shared openly before any decisions are made.

We call upon the city officials of Concord to organize a public presentation of this report and receive community feedback before proceeding any further with the proposed clubhouse project. Transparency in government spending of public tax dollars is essential for maintaining trust within our community.

Concord residents, please add your address or Ward number.
