In our School, Students of classes 7 and 8 have taken their little step forward in making a greener planet, let's all decide together for a bigger change.. Join us on the tree planting drive.!

As our climate becomes hotter and drier, our urban forest will be even more valuable. Planting more trees now will ensure that our urban forest provides benefits for future generations.  It is our job to plant the next generation of trees. Trees can help to save water. Trees also contribute to boosting biodiversity as they become a food source and natural habitat for wildlife. It can be planted on a very small surface but has a fantastic environmental effect.

Plant trees for a better world

You can obtain social, communal, environmental and economic benefits from the trees. It prevents soil erosion, floods, drought and global warming. If you are planting trees, it means you are investing for a sustainable and better future. 

Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, they give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilise the soil and give life to the world's wildlife. They also provide us with the materials for tools and shelter.

Around 15 billion trees are cut down each year. So, it would take just over 200 years for the world's forests to completely disappear.

In NSN we have decided to make the world green. We have already planted 1,111 saplings provided by the Forest Department around the neighbourhood. We want to continue this drive for a better world. Come let's do it together.
