On January 22nd, 2024 I received an apology letter from Grand River Hospital. I will share part of it here. 
 “Upon reflection, I’m very sorry that our program leadership, including myself, did not meet with you sooner to hear your concerns in person. Once again we are truly sorry we did not offer you a family meeting while Madisyn was a patient at Grand River Hospital.
Our deepest condolences on the death of your daughter, Madisyn.”

Nothing brings Madisyn back and my real wish is that I never lost my daughter and I had my old life/ her back. Unfortunately we don’t get that. Therefore, I work to create a legacy for my beautiful daughter and a better system to the world. In all honesty, I never thought I would receive an apology from the hospital. It helps my heart and gives me hope for change. 

Evil is intelligent and it wants to divide us. My mission is to not let that happen. To bring all parties involved together for positive change. Madisyn was a beautiful person. She did not like gossip or people being put down. I want to honour her by bringing positive change to this world. 

I had an acknowledgment form Deputy Health minister Stephen Lucas. Other than that, nothing to report in regards to meeting with Health Ministers office. I sent a lot of emails to various politicians and the province and territory health minister’s this week. Know that I will just keep plugging away! God Bless. Thank you for supporting MADI’s LAW!
