Valerie Bradford member of parliament for in Kitchener-South Hespeler's office has been in contact with me. Madi's Law needs a member of parliament to act as a representative in the House of Commons. I learned that change.org petitions are not recognized in the House of Commons but that's okay. I'm submitting a written one in proper format to the House of Commons. It only needs twenty-five written signatures. 
    This doesn't mean we stop collecting signatures at change.org. Numbers count and it lets the government know we've got eyes on them so please continue to sign and share. Once I've filed the written petition the government has 90 days to respond. Of course I will keep everyone updated.
