Prevent sexual violence on campus. Bring PSU into FULL compliance with the Campus SaVE Act.

Sexual violence on college campuses is a massive national problem. Colleges and universities are required by law to implement programs to prevent sexual assaults and other kinds of sexual violence.
By law, PSU is required to have:
Education programs to promote the awareness of rape, acquaintance rape, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, including:
- Primary prevention and awareness programs for all incoming students and new employees;
- Ongoing prevention and awareness campaigns for students and faculty.
PSU's "Safe Campus Module" was never intended to be a primary prevention tool. Comprehensive primary prevention programs like those required by the Campus SaVE Act seek to change social norms that allow sexual violence, including rape and assault, to persist on campus. The PSU community deserves these programs, not only because they are legally required, but because they will help make our campus a safer place. Your signature will help put pressure on the PSU administration to implement these vital programs and make our community safer.
