Lift the parking ban on Commercial street

Whereas; The Provincetown Parking Department website states, “parking enforcement is from May 1st until October 31st.”
Whereas; The Provincetown Police Department continues to enforce the parking regulations after October 31st
Whereas; The Provincetown Selectboard has chosen to abdicate their responsibility as Commissioners of the Roadway and delegated the commercial street parking ban to the discretion of the Acting Town Manager.
We, the undersigned, request that the Selectboard lift the parking ban on Commercial Street between Pearl Street and Winthrop as soon as possible until May 1st, 2021.
We, the undersigned, further request that all parking enforcement be suspended until May 1st, 2020 as is customary and codified into our parking rules and regulations several years ago.
