In the UK, there is an urgent need to expand and improve wrap-around services for special needs children. Currently limited to no options available, leaving working families struggling to find adequate support. This petition aims to raise awareness about the issue and urge authorities to allocate resource and create more accessible and comprehensive services for these vulnerable children.

This petition aims to better support working SEN parents/families with providing the following services:

• Morning / After school club options at the special needs school
• Holiday Club's - All year around

In the UK, the average cost of booking a child into holiday club is around £25 a day. How ever, for SEN families, this expense is significantly higher,  often reaching up to four times the standard amount, due to the wrap around services not being available and forcing SEN Families to pay for a private nanny/care giver. This financial burden places an undue strain on SEN families who already face numerous challenges in caring for their child's special needs. 

 We need fair and inclusive pricing policies that take into account the unique needs of SEN families, ensuring they have affordable access to holiday clubs and other necessary wrap around services. We need the local authorities to address this issue and work towards providing equal opportunities for all children, regardless of their special needs.
