In such conditions, stray animals experience severe dehydration and heat strokes, leading to painful and preventable deaths. The absence of clean, reliable water sources in our neighborhoods forces these distressed animals to seek hydration wherever they can, often bringing them into dangerous and confrontational situations with humans.

I propose that the Corpus Christi Animal Care Services (CCACS) takes a proactive role in alleviating this crisis by installing public water stations throughout the city, specifically in areas with high stray populations.
