The Health Hearing has been changed to June 23rd at 1:30 p.m. in Sacramento. As more information becomes available, we will share that with you. Sorry for the last minute post. It is an unpredictable process at times!!!!

If you have made reservations in Sacramento, be sure to change them.

We have made it so far in the process (35-0) in favor in the Senate. The Assembly is our next giant hurdle! Thanks to all who have called Chair of Health, Mia Bonta.

If you haven't done so, please do.

Look for further updates.

Thank you.

Paul

Hello,

My name is ________ and I am a constituent (if applicable) (and an adoptee/birth parent/adopted parent - if applicable). I’m calling to urge Chair Bonta to vote aye in the Health Committee on June 23rd in support of SB 381 as written.

Adult California born adoptees must be given unrestricted access to their original birth certificate. This is a matter of inclusivity, equal rights, and civil rights, as it will restore the same rights to adoptees as all other California born individuals enjoy.

Thank you
