Hi all, I wanted to let you know that we now have 80 signatures on this petition. Thank you so much for your support!
Would you help me get more signatures by sharing this petition with ten other people on social media? Facebook groups, SMS chats, X, email and WhatsApp all work great. If more of us sign, we can’t be ignored!
~A note from Katherine & James~
Thanks to everyone for taking the time out of your day to sign and share my petition. I have been so heartened, by all the support I have received as it is very difficult to speak about such a personal and complex situation, with a long history. Thanks to BBC Wales for covering my story with sensitivity. It was great to hear Disability Wales as well, saying that housing for disabled people in Wales, is one of the top issues that people have difficulties with.
If any disabled people or carers want to add any of their experiences of trying to get accessible accommodation, please feel free to get in touch! (All my details below)
I think the more this is highlighted, the less the inhumane and unnecessary suffering of disabled people is hidden from view.
If I could ask as many people to sign, or share this, within their communities, this would really help me bring this issue to those who make decisions.
I am not giving up !! and am determined to change whats “impossible” or “too difficult“- I live my life coping with this impossible situation- so I definitely have a lot of determination. This is the basics of life, washing and having accessible and safe facilities. Thanks for reading Katherine and James
