As such, this petition calls for sanitary pads to be provided in such places so that our women and girls who have come of age will have easy access to these products and more ease of mind.

Without access to sanitary pads in public places, women may experience embarrassment, stress and health risks. Public restrooms already provide basic hygiene necessities such as water, soap and toilet paper, 
so it makes perfect sense for sanitary pads to be supplied as well.

At the moment. there are places that have such machines, but they are limited in number and sporadic location-wise. Likewise, 24-hour outlets such as Cheers or 7-11. Making it a policy for the provision of sanitary pads in public restrooms will definitely put the mind at rest for our womenfolk in tems of planning and emergencies.

As such, we urge the relevant authorities to take action by providing sanitary products in 
public restrooms, making this an essential service available to all women.
