Recently, the St. Flannans College Student Council wrote to Clare County Council, requesting a much needed School Bus Stop Shelter, for our over 300 students who travel daily by bus, and spend hours per week, waiting on College Road. 

However this was to no avail, as our students are still left waiting out in the cold, rainy weather without shelter, throughout the whole year. 

For a modern, wealthy country we find it outrageous than Munster’s largest secondary school cannot even be provided a simple bus shelter. We hope that this petition will raise awareness and highlight the demand for such a service, prompting our local authority to act.
