Netflix has the opportunity to do better. In the now infamous episodes, a contestant who has worked with individuals with Down syndrome makes statements about the value of their lives. By spreading this hurtful and vastly inaccurate narrative on such a large platform, she is violates the code of conduct within her field of practice. 

The ball is in Netflix court for the next step:

Make it right by

1.Remove specific mention of down syndrome in season 3 episodes 6 and 7.

2. Offer resources for prenatal diagnosis at end of episode.

3. Apologize for airing the unedited version in original episode and lack of resources support for the down syndrome community harshly called out in episode. Clearly take a stand against eugenics as airing in original form showed support of the concept of "try for better".
