The Issue

Peter Newman, a child sexual abuse offender with hundreds of victims, was up for parole on September 25, 2024 after serving only 15 years in prison (17% of his total consecutive sentence of two life terms plus thirty years).

Newman's first opportunity for parole was DENIED!

Another is scheduled for September 2029, as dictated by Missouri law, which requires another hearing be held (as far out as allowable) in five years.

Sign this petition against his parole, which will be submitted to the Missouri Parole Board as part of Newman’s future hearing(s).

Protect Children. Support Survivors. Protest Pete’s Parole.

Newman developed a career in sports and youth ministry at Kanakuk Kamps from 1996 to 2009, and he also worked or volunteered in other child-facing settings before and after his time at Kanakuk. He was arrested in September 2009.

Newman’s predatory behavior, abuses of power, and heinous crimes continue to devastate thousands of individuals. He groomed and abused children in multiple locations domestically and internationally for at least ten years, and violated restrictions set to limit his exposure to children while under criminal investigation and out on bail.
