This is indeed a nerve chilling false accusation under SC ST Act for which 'Savarna' has paid a hefty price of its reputation. This is an incident of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Facts are taken from Media agencies which are easily available on internet for your reference.

Before going to the fact, let me take you to six years ago wherein a different murder was taken place in the same family of complainant (dalit). One lady called Guddi Devi, along with her brother-in-law, with whom she is in illicit relationship, committed murder of her husband and levelled false accusation of murder by registering false FIR under SC ST Act against a person from Brahmin community. For her cowardly act, she was also awarded compensation to the tune of Rs. 6 lakh under the Act by State welfare Commission of SC & ST.

This is the incident happened 6 years ago. This would be an incident of couple of months ago, the same lady Guddi Devi along with the man she is in illicit relationship (her brother-in-law) killed her infant son of six years old as the child came to know about their dirty relationship. With an intention to keep their dirty secret forever hidden, both the mother and the uncle murdered the son and registered false murder charges against the Youths of Brahmin community under SC/ST Act. Again, the lady was awarded compensation to the tune of Rs. 4 lakh by the state welfare commission.

Though the accused was arrested, upon complaint by the family members of the youths to SSP Mathura, state police again re-investigated the case and found out that that the charges are false. Former DGP and Commission chairman Shri Brijlal, commended the efforts of Mathura Police and also directed the police authorities to register cases for registering false FIR u/s 182 and giving false evidence in the court of law U/s 193 against the lady Guddi Devi and her paramour and also gave direction to DM Mathura for recovering the compensation amount which has been received falsely by the complainant. The Commission has also directed the police authorities to deal with the false registration of FIR cases under the Attrocities Act very strictly and strict action would be taken against the false complainant. 

This incident proves and satisfies the anger of Savarna Community as to why the Act is misused more for monetory benefits and destroying lives than as seeking justice.
