It is official now according to various media sources that tomorrow on 6th September would be Bharat Bandh called by Generals and OBCs to express strong dissent against the government's decision of reviving the SC ST Amendment Act.
It is said that more than 150 organisations of General and OBC community would participate in the Bandh declared tomorrow. The anger of Madhya Pradesh has taken its grip in the entire Hindi Heartland of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and other states. This time the swarnas are determined to overthrow the ruling party from its seat in the upcoming general election of 2019, if the government does not change its stance of being a pro dalit.
Modi government is the reason and responsible for a coup like situation in the nation. Generals and OBCs are treated like a second grade citizens after previleged SCs and STs community. It is a huge shame that big media houses like Aaj Tak and ABP are protraying the peaceful demonstrations of swarnas as anti social and hooliganism in the name of casteism. Media has not remained no more transparent and impartial. When swarnas were falsely harassed by the misuse of the Act not a single media channel shed some lights on their apathy but when SCs and STs community took on street to create vandalism, media channels hailed their conduct as 'Shakti Pradarshan' (Power Pack demonstration). This is the real face of media which is seen more as 'sold to BJP' and it is very apparent that the media houses would sing in to the tunes of the ruling party.
Media has become more as a platform of gaining TRP by bringing melodramatist like Sambit Patra to utter nonsense in the face of public for gaining hilarious attentions. Quality of reporting is destroyed and the definition of women empowernment is exhibited by bringing very arguementative and rude anchors like Anjana Om Kashyap who insults and humiliates others for no valid reason. One thing is clear, media have no support with us. We have to stand by each other in the harshest times.
As prohibitory orders are issued in the state of Madhya Pradesh and others, state police is on high alert. Till now no official order is made to suspend internet connections. I request all of General and OBC community to participate peacefully in the Bandh tomorrow. We have the strength to overthrow the ruling party as we have the option of pressing NOTA. If the government does not restore the decision of Supreme Court against automatic arrest under SC ST Amendment Act, we would not tolerate the ruling party anymore. We would emerge as the major game changer in the upcoming general election and nothing would stop us.
