It seems the Central government is stucked in its own bait of securing dalit vote bank when anti-reservationists more particularly General and OBC community took on streets of Madhya Pradesh to protest aloud against the attrocities committed by SCs and STs by lodging false FIRs and prosecution under the Act.
To please the anti-social elements responsible for the April 2nd violence against the welfare judgement of the Supreme Court of 20th March ( in which directions were issued for pre-investigation before arrest of innocents), the central government brought the Amendment version of the Act in the just concluded monsoon session in July and was passed unanimously in both the houses and also got presidential assent thereby the Act came into force.
It seems this time their pleasing policy of dalits before the upcoming general election 2019 did not go down well with the 'swarna samaj' and now the government is turning 360 degrees to please the General and OBC community under the apprehension of losing election.
Generals and OBCs have woken up from their deep slumber and have shown that how they play a very important role in the democracy. Their voices have raised the long lost hopes of millions from this community who always have turned failure even if remaining on high merits. We are all thankful to you. Our support is strengthen by your courage and we are feeling secured from arbitrary arrest and harassment by vested interests.
According to media reports, a high level cabinet meeting is called today by BJP President Amit Shah to devise out ways to pacify the 'swarnas' , who are believed to be the major game changers in the upcoming General election. Curfews have been imposed in 3 districts of MP in Bhind, Morena and Shivpuri under section 144 of CrPC. Road shows and rallies for the upcoming Assembly election have been cancelled by ministers and stakeholders due to widespread anger by the General and OBC community in the state. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan was heckled by protestors and was thrown 'chappal' while on an election campaign in the state.
During April 2nd Protest by dalit community, gwalior to chambal stretch was the worst affected where huge violence took place on streets and property were damaged. This time Generals and OBCs have come around against centre's caste politics. Many have shown their strong dissent against the ruling party's double standard as Generals and OBCs have long remained true allegiance to BJP or say traditional voters.
The state police is on high alert. The prohibitory orders are issued in 51 districts of Madhya Pradesh and will reamain in effect till 4th September due to rumours of calling a 'Bharat Bandh' by 'swarna samaj' on 6th September.
I request all of you to protest in a decent and dignified manner without causing any injury to others and state property. Calling for a peaceful protest or demonstration is a fundamental right of citizen. We have huge respect for each other and the country but we are against the caste politics played by the politicians since the adoption of constitution. We have to fight for our rights and also has to keep this in mind that we would not turn barbaric like the ones who created ruckus on street on the unfortunate date of Indian history of 2nd April.
Jai Hind!
