I am ashamed to be Australian.

Yesterday, via my Fetch TV, I watched the following news outlets:

• MSNBC
• BBC News
• Al Jazeera
• CNN
• France 24
• EuroNews

And ALL of them had a headline about Australia's social media ban.

I am ashamed.

I am ashamed of the following things:

• Our country being led by a now-conservative dictator
• Human rights having not been considered
• That News Corp and the media have such a large influence over here
• That the world is watching
• Being part of this country overall

However, we can actually benefit.

We can intervene on age restrictions.

And when we do: it will send a crystal clear message: It cannot be done.

Many EU countries AND the UK have tried. It has been scrapped after public backlash or evading.

This is going to be the same.

But only if YOU play your part.
