Bill introduced, but it won't pass.

"This is about giving children a childhood and parents peace of mind."

Absolutely not.

You never could take us for the doofus you are, and never will.

Today, they introduce the bill to make 16 the age of social media to parliament.

This feels directly disrespectful, especially after the JSC made 12 recommendations that are better and could actually work.

Now, the odds are looking quite good. While this bill may have bipartisan support from Dutton, there are HEAPS of MPs who disagree.

And Labor is tiny.

Liberal is smaller.

We are dominated by independents who all side with us.

In the event it does pass, well, I say, Parting is such sweet sorrow.

This bill will undoubtedly fall, and when it does, the world will watch.

They will all know that they tried to throw human rights in secure document destruction but it failed miserably.

And the world will condemn the government.

It will make news:

"AUSTRALIA HAS FAILED THE KIDS: Bill scrapped and the world learns from Australia's mistake"

That's even if it passes senate, considering that I do not know a SINGLE senator who agrees.

Anyway, we have 12 months to intervene.

And we can do it.

Onwards and upwards!
