This petition is calling on Canadian health authorities to provide urgent access to Pemgarda (Pemivibart) for immunocompromised people who are at high risk of severe COVID-19. Pemgarda is a monoclonal antibody recently authorized in the U.S. to provide passive immunity for those who cannot mount a strong response to vaccines — including transplant recipients, cancer patients, and others with weakened immune systems.

In Canada, these vulnerable individuals are left with no authorized preventative option and no clear timeline for access to Pemgarda. We are urging Health Canada and public health decision-makers to move quickly to make Pemgarda available through emergency access programs, special authorizations, or formal approval.

 Action is overdue.
