zelle needs to be more difficult to steal through!

 We need to petition zelle and banks to adding a required PIN code that we are required to call into our bank and confirm identity via “my voice” to set and be recommended this PIN code be different from any other pin code we use for other things. The banks should announce that you should never ever share this pin with anyone and delete the email that gives you your PIN code if is generated for you depending on how the banks decide to set it up! This PIN should help verify your identity when processing a payment/transfer/zelle/wire/bill pay. 

Maybe it requires you to enter your full social when you use zelle? There just has to be better security than just simply a text confirmation. If someone has your phone and your bank password is in your phone or guessable based on other passwords, a person could access your bank and zelle themselves within minutes!!!

My phone was stolen and my pin on my phone was guessed and the person stole money via zelle through my Wells Fargo account in the time span of about 15 minutes before I noticed my phone was missing! They must have seen my code over my shoulder! Since this happened I have spoken to several people who have had similar experiences or know a victim of this type of crime!

I don’t want other people to experience this and there just has to be a better way!

ps. In your venmo app you can create a pin code to protect yourself should your device be stolen! Look under the settings section!! Please do this today!
