If we continue to ignore that the trans youth of our country is under attack, lives will be lost. New York State has always been a leader in LGBTQ+ rights, and we are failing in upholding this legacy. The New York State Assembly concludes its session in June. We currently have LGBTQ+ bills sitting in our legislature, waiting for a vote, and we are running out of time. 

If we do not get legislation signed into law before June, that means MONTHS before another opportunity to vote on this bill.
