Petition updateCall for Edna's Law and a public inquiry into whistle-blowingRemembering all victims of PREVENTABLE harm and death

On August 5th we remembered all who were harmed or died due to whistleblowers being ignored, or workers being too scared to speak up.

All those deaths and harms were preventable. Some were in widely-publicised sudden events eg Piper Alpha, Aberfan, Clapham train crash, and the Zeebrugge ferry disaster.

Others occurred separately over a long period, eg construction workers at various sites including Crossrail, and the hundreds at Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

Many more victims elsewhere were never reported in the media and their families and friends were never told that whatever killed or harmed them was preventable.  Such is the level of cover-up, eg Coroners and other regulators, civil servants and Government ministers of various political parties, suppressing evidence from whistleblowers.

#InternationalEdnasDay will now be an annual event every 5th August.  Thank you everyone in the UK and overseas who supported it last week.

#EdnasLaw focuses on the victims and potential victims, to ensure accountability and to prevent future harm and death.  Thank you for helping to do this.
