----- Action Updates -----

We have updated our Take Action! Page to better detail a few easy steps you can take today at this very moment to help us defeat the proposed $50 million taxpayer-funded grant to Copperwood. Please check out the page for full details, but for now we invite you to:

  1. Fill out this Fast Action Form (takes just two minutes). Non-residents are welcome to participate. Even if you’ve filled out the form before, we encourage you to do so again. The scene in the Michigan Capitol is hectic and ever changing, so we need sustained engagement to remind lawmakers that denying this funding must continue to be a top priority.

  2. We also encourage all Michigan residents to reach out directly to your state senator and state representative via their website. Messages received through constituency services are granted a higher priority than messages received elsewhere. Even if your official is not on one of the Appropriations Committees who will determine the fate of the funding, they are surely in constant contact with their colleagues. Our goal is ensure that we are a part of their conversations!

  3. Please brainstorm ways you can personally share this Call to Action with others!

Thank you for your time.

In solidarity,
