Stand With Us to Protect 3100 Weston Road

Dear friends and neighbours,
By the grace of God and through the dedication of many caring people, we have come very far in our efforts to protect the treasured property at 3100 Weston Road. We are deeply grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and support we have received. But our journey is not over. This is about more than a single building—it is about preserving one of Toronto’s truly special historic properties: the beautiful grounds, the heritage Rivermede House, the former school, chapel, and the rich history that has touched generations of families, students, and community members. There are very few places left in Toronto with this kind of history, beauty, green space, and community significance. Once lost, they can never be replaced. Whether your connection is through faith, heritage, education, nature, or simply a love for preserving meaningful places in our city, we ask you to stand with us. Please do whatever you can—lend your voice, your prayers, and your support—to help protect this remarkable property from demolition and overdevelopment. Every voice matters. Every act of support matters. Together, we can make a difference. We remain hopeful until the very end.
With gratitude,
St Joseph prayer group
