Fireworks displays held in close proximity to horses and livestock demand stricter regulations to safeguard these animals and their owners. The current laws are notably lenient and ambiguous, which has become evident through the proposed local display at the East Leake Bantams site on costock rd!

This site is surrounded by approximately 50 horses some a mere 70m away from the firing site however we were struggling to stop this display even though the horses were so close.

It's imperative that we implement more stringent nationwide legislation, aligning our standards with those of other countries and heeding the call of organisations such as the RSPCA. This is vital to ensure the well-being of animals across the country, prevent unnecessary stress, injuries, and damages, and offer peace of mind to those who care for these animals.
