On Monday from 4 to 6 pm, Beaufort County Council members were in executive session receiving legal advice on numerous issues including the on-going one regarding Pine Island. They emerged from that session and only reported out on one other matter and not on Pine Island. No votes, motions or moves were taken regarding Pine Island. However, stay diligent! We will be alerting you concerning the upcoming Beaufort County Planning Commission meeting as soon as an agenda is posted to confirm whether or not the request to remove Pine Island / St. Helenaville from the CPO will be listed.
