We're calling on all of our supporters to join us at the Beaufort County Council meeting which will be held within the St. Helena Island CPO District at the St. Helena Branch Library TODAY.  Beaufort County Council meetings are held TONIGHT beginning at 5pm. Council will start with a caucus meeting at 5pm followed by the full council meeting at 6pm.

Let's continue to thank Beaufort County Council for standing up and holding up the CPO.  We cannot allow a gated area, golf course or resort to be built in the epicenter of Gullah/Geechee culture.  This will set a precedent that cannot stop all other forms of elements of displacement of native people to take place in addition to bringing massive negative environmental impacts as trees are clear cut and natural areas are altered.

UPHOLD the St. Helena Island Cultural Protection Overlay District!  Keep Gullah/Geechee culture thriving!
