Peace St. Helena Island Cultural Protection Overlay District Supporters!

We are still busy fighting for our historic island. There are two pending legal cases that we are raising funds for.  The Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition represented by the South Carolina Environmental Law Project (SCELP), the Coastal Conservation League and Penn Center, Inc. are standing united on this issue and will continue to fight on to ensure that St. Helena Island's Cultural Protection Overlay District remains intact and that the Gullah/Geechee culture on this rural Sea Island remains alive.

We pray that you will come out and join us at "Gullah/Geechee Agroculture Day" as we do a Gullah/Geechee CREATE Marine Debris Removal project activity and share updates and meet and greet all of our powerful supporters that helped us throughout a long year of steady battles to protect the epicenter of Gullah/Geechee culture.
