Community Celebration

on Saturday May 27th 11:00am-3:00pm at
16 Penn Center Cir W. St. Helena Island
When: Arrive anytime between 11-3PM, the celebration will begin
at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be served from 12:30-2:30PM, so stop by to a
grab a plate of BBQ, fried fish, and local vegetables.
- Where: Penn Center Campus. Food will be served next to the barn. Restrooms are available at Darrah Hall.

What to bring: Your appetite, lawn chairs, an umbrella & a good attitude! Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for dancing
and being outside—there will be a DJ!
- What to remember: We are celebrating a big victory-- strengthening the CPO--but the fight to protect St. Helena Island and its Gullah/Geechee culture IS NOT OVER YET. We thank you for your support and hope you will join us for a celebration and a conversation about the future of the island and next steps for the community.
