We the people are personally attached to the group of feral cats that have found their home at Louie's RV Park many years ago. These cats aren't just animals; they are living, breathing souls who deserve our care and respect. They are just trying to live life like us. It is not their fault that they are homeless. And they should not have to die because they are homeless. It is our duty as humans to protect Gods creatures. They can not ask for help. They have no voice. So we are their voice. Many of us in the community have put significant effort, finances and resources into maintaining their well-being, controlling their population through spaying and neutering, and remaining attentive to their specific needs.

These creatures also serve a practical role, helping to control the park's snake and rodent population, thus contributing to the balance of our local ecosystem. Research has shown that the presence of outdoor cats can significantly decrease the number of pests in an area (Humane Society).

Recently, someone has deemed these cats a nuisance and is threatening their survival. They have requested that animal control come in and remove these defenses souls from their only known home. If this happens, the cats will be taken to a shelter where they have nearly zero chance of being adopted due to being feral. This will ultimately result in euthanasia for all who are captured.
These feral cats, an integral part of our park's community, face an uncertain future tarnished by erroneous perception. It's a decision that could waste all our previous efforts, not to mention strike a heavy blow to our spirits.

Let's act now and prevent this unnecessary action. Let's voice our concern for the welfare of our cohabiting feline friends, urging for their protection.
