I’m drafting a letter to our Senator and I need the help of the community. 

I will be writing to him (and others) to create a law that establishes a temporary “ping” on a person’s background check if they are under investigation for any child abuse or CP material. This would prevent them from being hired at schools before formal charges are listed on their record. 

1 day is too long, but 6 months is inexcusable. Someone should’ve said something. Someone should’ve known. 

I would like to attach a petition from the community to my letter and that’s where I need your help! We are a smaller rural area and we can often be ignored, but I feel like if we all come together we can make the powers at be take us seriously and spark real meaningful change.
