I connected with the Director of Communications for Councilmember Raul Campillo (District 7) regarding this petition to protect the Benjamin Library from redevelopment.
We're happy to share that the Councilmember's office is aware of and monitoring signatures and comments on this petition, and they expressed that they are glad to see this petition has gained traction. Councilmember Campillo is currently in a listening phase on this issue and welcomes feedback from the community, particularly District 7 residents.
