Important Update: Board Meeting Tonight, August 19, 2025

To all who have signed our petition, donated, and stood with us,

First, thank you. Your support is the engine behind this movement. Every signature on our Change.org petition and every contribution has made a difference in bringing these critical issues to light. Tonight, we have an important opportunity to make our voices heard directly to the Jefferson Union High School District Board of Trustees.

This evening, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the board is holding a meeting at 123 Edgemont Drive, Building A, Daly City, CA 94015. The public comment section is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.

I want to be transparent with you about the resistance we are facing. In an effort to silence our message and protect a flawed system, I was temporarily banned from Nextdoor for 24 hours. The post, which simply called on the community to attend the board meeting and demand action, was removed by a Nextdoor admin who is also a Terra Nova teacher, Alyssa Jenkins. This action appears to be an attempt to protect the "ego" of certain faculty members and their friends, rather than prioritizing the safety and well-being of the kids they are paid to protect.

This incident only strengthens our resolve. It shows us that we are hitting a nerve and that those who have allowed this system to fail are afraid of our collective voice. They would rather hide the truth than face the community they have betrayed.

Our fight is far from over. This is a clear sign that our efforts are working, and we must continue to push forward. We will not be silenced. We will not be intimidated. We will continue to demand transparency, accountability, and justice for every student who has been harmed.

Please attend the board meeting tonight if you are able. Your presence and your voice are critical. We need to show them that our community is united and will not be ignored.
