Thank you to everyone who signed and shared this petition. We had 2,123 signatures between our online and printed versions. Of those, 590 were registered Swansboro voters. While everyone's support matters, and the Flybridge development would negatively affect an area much bigger than just our town, I think seeing the petition numbers in comparison with the last election results where 677 people voted was a main factor in the majority of Commissioners voting down the Flybridge proposal.
