Why is this so important? Read on...

What would you do if an intimate partner violent offender who had tried to murder or had brutally assaulted your loved ones, was granted early release from Federal Prison with nothing but a piece of paper and a promise?,

The terrifying reality is exactly what survivors across Canada face. In April 2026, a death review panel convened by British Columbia's chief coroner stated that 135 deaths they studied in relation to intimate partner violence were "overwhelmingly preventable."

A piece of paper and periodic check ins are NOT enough. We need real, proactive protection.

This House of Commons e-petition calls for mandatory GPS monitoring  and geofencing for high risk intimate partner violence offenders when they are granted early release into our communities well before serving their full sentence.

Many provinces across Canada have already declared intimate partner violence an epidemic. This House of Commons e-petition has received over 500 signatures, but we still need your help to protect survivors.
