The Town of Sunset Beach is pursuing a new island parking plan that will impact residents, property owners, visitors and local businesses.  On January 30, 2025, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) called for a comprehensive parking study to develop sustainable safety-focused solutions through the collaborative input of all stakeholders.
