Government policies should also promote animal welfare and harshly penalize acts of violence against these vulnerable animals.

Supporting local animal welfare organizations, adopting pets instead of buying them, and educating the public about animal rights are effective ways to make a change. Together, we can create a safe environment for all street animals to live their lives without fear.
