📅 Date: May 20, 2026 @ 7:00pm

📍 Location: 1 Monteith Drive, Farmington, CT 06032 (Council Chambers, downstairs in the lower level)
 Attend and speak out!

WHAT’S BEING PROPOSED?

A TRUCK STOP @ 8261 Fienemann Rd , Farmington, CT

(Slater Rd and Farmington Ave for NB residents, diagonally across existing Noble Gas Station)

This will include:

Diesel fueling station
Over 18,000 sq ft warehouse

(The size of almost 4 basketball courts)
Over 100 parking spaces and trucking bays

WHY THIS MATTERS

This proposal raises serious concerns for our neighborhood:

🏘️ Community Impact

Increased traffic, noise, and environmental stress

Industrial-scale use next to residential areas

🌿 Threat to Wetlands

Destruction of natural wetlands that help prevent flooding and filter pollution

Increased stormwater runoff and water quality degradation

💧 Risk to Water Quality

Fueling operations pose risk of diesel contamination

Proposed systems will NOT effectively remove harmful pollutants

⚠️ Long-Term Environmental Damage

Potential groundwater contamination

Irreversible loss of critical natural resources

⚠️Impact on Wildlife

Disruption of habitats and migration corridors

Harm to protected and sensitive species.
