Already, over 105 homes in River Ridge Reserve, 54 homes in Shetland Ridge, and schools with hundreds of teachers and over a thousand students have intensified the congestion. Recent developments, like the school across from Lithia housing 37 teachers and 520 students, and the school at the end of Tevalo Drive with 64 teachers and 750 students, have made an already precarious situation even more challenging. And now, the proposed additional 64 homes at the end of Olavet only promises to exacerbate this situation. Tragically, these mounting pressures have already led to two fatalities, bringing a deeply personal and heart-wrenching dimension to the issue.

The rural charm of our environment, defined by sprawling agricultural lands and properties developed with ample space averaging one home per acre, is at risk.
