Like millions of others online, I care deeply about Punch and the wellbeing of the animals at Ichikawa Zoo.

Recent visitor behavior and unauthorized interactions have raised serious concerns about animal safety and zoo security. Seeing animals appear distressed and unsafe was heartbreaking for many people around the world.
