My name is Alexandra, and I'm on the Civic Engagement team at Change.org. Our team works to connect petition starters and supporters with the public officials who have the power to act on the issues you care about. 

We spoke with Senator Don Gaetz’s office regarding this petition about repealing the Schools of Hope program.

His team shared that they have received the petition and plan to review it with the Senator. They specifically asked that we re-send the petition along with a list of signatures, so they can cross-reference supporters with their constituent database. This will help them better understand how many signers are residents of Senator Gaetz’s district.

Staff members explained that if a significant number of constituents have signed or reached out, Senator Gaetz will provide an official reply addressing the issue. In addition, the office is open to providing individualized responses to residents who contact them directly.
