We are deeply concerned about the overwhelming evidence suggesting that electromagnetic fields (EMF) from microwave-emitting devices are causing significant health issues. We have closely followed the emerging research and expert opinions pointing to a frightening reality. While these technologies have advanced communication and connectivity, there is growing concern from scientists, medical professionals, and the public about their long-term biological impacts. Many doctors, scientists, and researchers specializing in microwave weapons and telecommunications technologies have issued warnings about the long-term consequences of exposure to these devices.

Over the past few decades, the widespread use of wireless technology—including mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers, 5G towers, smart meters, and other EMF-emitting devices—has significantly increased our environmental exposure to non-ionizing radiation.

Devices such as cordless DECT phones, WiFi routers, mobile phone signals (including 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G), baby monitors, smart meters, and other 'smart' equipment emit pulsed microwaves. Alarmingly, there is a growing body of evidence linking these emissions to permanent DNA damage, an increase in cancer rates, and symptoms akin to ME/CFS. These mechanisms are not fully understood yet with some research papers stating these could be due to indirect mechanisms. In 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC, part of WHO) classified RF-EMF as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2B). Furthermore, these devices may cause infertility and other severe health problems in both humans and animals.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recognises Electro-Hypersenstivity and states that for some time a number of individuals have reported a variety of health problems that they relate to exposure to EMF.

In the face of such overwhelming evidence, it is imperative that we take concrete action to protect public health. The first step should be a thorough, independent review by health organizations and regulatory bodies, assessing the potential risks associated with prolonged EMF exposure. Greater awareness is needed about the risks of EMF radiation, and precautionary measures should be implemented to minimize exposure, especially in sensitive populations such as children and pregnant women.

Numerous studies have indicated potential links between EMF exposure and adverse health effects, including but not limited to:

• Headaches, fatigue, and sleep disturbances
• Increased oxidative stress and cellular damage
• Potential carcinogenicity (as classified by the World Health Organization’s IARC)
• Effects on neurological and cognitive development in children
• Disruption of wildlife navigation and plant growth
• Despite ongoing debate, many researchers and physicians advocate for the "precautionary principle"—acting to prevent potential harm when there is scientific uncertainty.
• Estimates suggest that roughly 0.5%–1% of the population have severe EHS that significantly impacts daily

We urge policymakers, health organizations, and industry leaders to acknowledge these concerns and act swiftly. This involves re-evaluating safety standards, funding crucial research that further explores these health impacts, and promoting safer technological alternatives. Governments should legislate mandatory exposure limits, increase public education, and require manufacturers to clearly label products highlighting potential health risks.

• Independent Research Funding: Support and fund independent, peer-reviewed studies on the health and environmental impacts of EMF radiation, free from industry influence.
• Exposure Regulation and Monitoring: Update safety limits for EMF radiation exposure to reflect the latest biological research. Mandate routine monitoring of radiation levels in schools, hospitals, homes, and public spaces.
• Infrastructure Caution: Impose stricter zoning and installation guidelines for cell towers and other EMF-emitting infrastructure, particularly near residential areas, schools, and healthcare facilities.
  Right to Opt-Out: Grant citizens the right to opt out of smart meter programs or other high-EMF technologies in their homes and workplaces without financial penalty.
• Public Awareness Campaigns: Launch nationwide education efforts to inform citizens, especially vulnerable groups such as children, pregnant individuals, and the elderly, about safe usage and EMF exposure reduction techniques.
• Manufacturers and Innovators: Understand the impacts of this technology and build more innovative solutions to such EMF radiation.

This petition is not anti-technology—it is pro-health, safety and innovation. We seek a balanced approach that embraces innovation while protecting human health and ecological well-being. EMF radiation is a modern environmental issue, and it is time for our governments to treat it with the seriousness it deserves.
