As a resident with a beautiful waterfront view at the intersection of 13th Ave South and Lakeside Drive, I am concerned about losing this valuable land that makes our neighborhood the most unique and desirable in the city. 

Unfortunately, there is a looming threat of this waterfront easement becoming inaccessible to the public. We must not let that happen. Open waterfronts are proven to provide significant health benefits to communities, improving not only mental health, but also encouraging physical activities.  Many people can be seen walking their dogs or taking walks themselves along our streets and easements along the water. 

Our plea is to preserve this public easement, keeping it open and accessible for current and future generations. Together, we can ensure our waterfront remains a cornerstone for our community. We request that city officials and community leaders act decisively to keep our waterfront publicly accessible.
