For the second year, the FFA students at Santiam Christian school will be participating in a "Pass the Pig" fundraiser. For two days, two piglets are sent around from one business to the next asking for donations. This practice jeopardizes the animal's welfare, subjecting them to unnecessary travel, human handling, and unfamiliar environments. This fundraiser has been eliminated at the university level because of its blatant disregard for animal welfare. Please sign this petition and ask the administration at Santain Christian to STOP this careless and unnecessary fundraiser.
