Protect Penny Fields

The Issue

Penny Fields was withdrawn from North Somerset Council's Development Plan in January 2024. This means the council is no longer planning to develop this land. 

We still need to PROTECT PENNY FIELDS by making it a Local Green Space. 

This will formally protect the site from development, preserve an urban green and enrich the natural world. 

North Somerset Council is planning to hold a consultation relating to the Local Plan 2039 this Summer. This is the last chance to give Penny Fields the designation of a Local Green Space.

I will personally present this petition to North Somerset Council.
